Tasks remaining for 0.9.x series
I'm proud to say that most of the framework elements are in place for the 0.9.x development series, and it's rapidly approaching 0.8.x in terms of stability and easy of interface use. (A lot of this can be attributed to Dr Volker Bradley and his insane attention to detail ...)
Foundation Site and Community Clinical Advisory Board
We're consolidating the FreeMED Software Foundation site, which was previously located at http://www.freemedsoftware.com/
If anyone is interested in the Community Clinical Advisory Board for the Foundation, please fill out the form, and help shape the future of our favorite open source medical software.
Site upgrades
Expect some new shiny chrome for the site, courtesy of Unified Medical Informatics, who have graciously donated some nice logos and other stuff.
The site also uses nice names for everything, since I can't be bothered to remember node numbers and such things. For example, "Downloads" is now http://www.freemedsoftware.org/downloads ... simple.
We've finally got a new website
Well, I finally got around to putting up a new freemedsoftware.org site ...
I think it's pretty, but I'm still going to be tweaking the site a bit as I go. Please feel free to drop comments about loving/hating it. Also, please make use of the forums, as they are there to help encourage community discussion.
Also, we're trying to author a community-based manual for FreeMED. This effort is being spearheaded by Dr Volker Bradley from New Hampshire, but I hope that all seasoned FreeMED users will contribute their figurative two cents.
