Unable to print statements in v 0.8.4

Hi all, got Freemed 0.8.4 up and running on Debian 4.0 .... everything is running great. Will definitely make sure and donate to the cause. One problem I have though is printing a statement. Originally, when I would click on either 'PDF' or 'Postscript' it would generate a "XML Support is not enabled" error. I ran through and tried updating the packages again. This time, when I click on the link for reports, just get a blank page. Any thoughts on what I missed?
Am able to print statements from within Firefox. Shoulda known better. ;-)
Curious...no matter how many appointments I book for the same day, the "Appointments Today" number remains at 0. Maybe you have to wait until the day officially starts?
I believe the problem is fixed in the 0.8.x branch of the Subversion repository.
